No, you can book directly without a referral. If you’d like to claim a Medicare rebate, you’ll need a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP.
-
The Medicare rebate is approx. $93.35 per session.
This rebate applies if you have a valid Mental Health Care Plan and referral from your GP.
Please note that rebates may change, so I recommend checking with Medicare or your GP for the latest figures.

Your first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, your current challenges, and what you hope to achieve. You’ll have space to ask questions, set goals, and share as much (or as little) as you feel comfortable. It’s normal to feel nervous, but many people leave their first session feeling relieved and hopeful.
-
It depends on your needs and goals. Some people benefit from just a few sessions, while others prefer longer-term support. We’ll review this together as we go.
