Assessments
I provide comprehensive psychological assessments for adults seeking clarity around ADHD or Autism. These assessments are designed to explore lifelong patterns of attention, executive functioning, sensory experiences, and social communication in a structured and evidence-based way.
An ADHD or Autism assessment may be helpful if you have noticed:
Ongoing difficulties with focus, organisation, or emotional regulation
Feeling different in social situations or experiencing sensory sensitivities
Challenges managing work, study, or relationships
A sense that ADHD or Autism may help explain longstanding patterns in how you think, feel, and experience the world
The goal of assessment is not only diagnostic clarity, but also developing a deeper understanding of your strengths, challenges, and the supports that may be helpful moving forward.
Please note:
As a psychologist, I do not prescribe medication. If you are seeking medication for ADHD, you will need to see a psychiatrist.
Assessment Fees
The fee for a comprehensive ADHD or Autism assessment is $2,500.
This includes all sessions, review of assessment measures, and preparation of a detailed written report outlining findings and recommendations.
If you have any questions about fees, referrals, or the assessment process, please feel free to get in touch
Assessment Process
Initial Consultation (50 mins)
We begin with a detailed discussion of your current concerns, developmental history, and the goals of the assessment. This session allows time to explain the process and answer any questions
Questionnaires (completed outside of session)
Following the initial consultation, you will receive a set of standardised questionnaires via email. These are completed by you and, where possible, a parent, caregiver, or partner who knows you well.
Diagnostic Assessment (90 mins)
This session involves a structured diagnostic interview guided by established assessment tools:
DIVA-5 for ADHD assessments
MIGDAS-2 for autism assessments
Parent/Sibling/Partner Interview (20-30mins)
Where possible, a brief collateral interview is conducted with a parent, sibling, or partner.
Report Preparation (completed out of session)
Following the assessment, a comprehensive written report is prepared outlining findings, diagnostic considerations, and personalised recommendations.
Feedback Session (50 mins)
In the final session, we review the assessment findings together. You will receive your written report and have the opportunity to discuss the results, ask questions, and explore recommended supports or next steps.
